FARMINGTON – Raymond L. Weible of Farmington passed on to his heavenly home on February 11, 2025, at Southbrook Skilled Nursing at the age of 95. He was born in Corridon, Missouri on July 10, 1929, to the late Thomas Jefferson Weible and Clara Alzada (Tripp) Weible. In addition to his parents, he was recently preceded in death by his wife of 77 years, Maggie Mae (Anderson) Weible; a son, James L. Weible; grandson, Brian James Weible and all his thirteen siblings.
Raymond grew up in rural Reynolds County where he finished two years of high school at Bunker. He went to work for Food Town grocery store and began falling into some jobs as a printer for them. He became very interested in the printing jobs and pursued that trade. He eventually went out on his own and began a printing business in St. Louis.
In his spare time, he was a handyman who took care of the vehicles and chores around the house. He enjoyed vegetable gardening, baseball, and fishing. At 55, Raymond and Mae moved to the farm, and at that time, he took up the guitar, learning how to play it properly, and taught himself to use a computer and a keyboard. He continued to do custom printing. He still owned his original printing press. He was in his element working outside at the farm and working around his old barn.
Survivors include his daughter, Linda (David) Delfel; a special grandson, Jason (Amanda) Delfel; 2 special great-grandchildren, Noah and Elsah; four additional grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are extended family.
