Richard Edward Champagne

Richard Edward Champagne, formerly of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on August 25, 2025, at Claru Deville Nursing Center in Fredericktown, at the age of 74.

He was born on January 10, 1951, in Santa Barbara, California, to the late Roy and Paula (Sidles) Champagne.

Richard is survived by his children, Rachelle (Michael) Donlon of Colorado Springs, CO, and Ryan Champagne of Wingdale, NY; his beloved grandchildren, Cadence, Owen, Charlotte, Sylvia, and Olivia; his brother, William (Antoinette) Champagne of Bogard Parish, LA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul Champagne and Roy Champagne.

Richard worked as a locksmith in the maintenance industry and was known for his love of animals—especially dogs.
