His love for racing remained an important part of his life, bringing him countless memories and friendships throughout the years.

Ronnie Lee Jarrell, of Farmington, entered eternal rest on September 22, 2026, at Mercy Hospital South at the age of 75. He was born on October 7, 1950, in Farmington, Missouri, to the late George and Ardis Jarrell.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Tracey Jarrell; his children, Melissa (Dennis) Stevens and Jennifer Jarrell (Tommy Boyer); his grandchildren, Brooke (Josh) Granda, Dillon (Tessa) Hamm, Alexis Choate (Tristan Butler), and Talon Chapman; and his great-grandchildren, Kyler Granda, Paisley Choate, and Violet Choate. He is also survived by several dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years and the mother to his children, Martha Rae Jarrell, and his grandson, Trenton Xavier Chapman.

Ronnie was a skilled mechanic for more than 55 years and was the proud owner of Ron Jarrell Automotive in Farmington. He had a lifelong passion for dirt track racing, which began in 1969 when he built his first race car for just $40 and went on to win his very first race. His love for racing remained an important part of his life, bringing him countless memories and friendships throughout the years. Ronnie will be fondly remembered for his love of racing, his dedication to his work, and the memories he leaves behind for his family and friends to cherish.

A memorial visitation will be held at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Monday, September 28, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Rick Chilton. Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the American Cancer Society.
