Rose Marie (Gentry) Rose

Rose Marie (Gentry) Rose, of Farmington, entered eternal rest on February 26, 2026, at Camelot Skilled Nursing Home at the age of 78.

She was born on August 15, 1947, in St. Louis to the late Morris and Hilda (Schmidt) Gentry.

Rose is survived by her loving son, Richard Rose Jr. of Farmington; her sister, Millie Benz of Farmington; and several nieces, nephews, and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Richard Gentry and Jimmy Joe Gentry, and her brother-in-law, Frank Benz.

A woman of deep faith, Rose read her Bible faithfully and found great comfort in her spirituality. She had a special love for animals, especially her cherished cats. She was a wonderful cook who took pride in preparing meals from scratch and was well known for keeping an immaculate home.

Per Rose’s request, no formal services will be held. Private inurnment will take place at St. Trinity Cemetery.
