Sandra “Sandy” Kay Momot, 64, of Farmington, entered eternal rest at her home on September 29, 2025. She was born on September 14, 1961, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, to Helen Marie (Tucker) Ledbetter and the late Earl L. Brewer.
Sandy is survived by her devoted husband of 22 years, Robert “Bob” Momot; her beloved mother, Helen Ledbetter of Farmington; her sons, Nicholas Momot of Farmington and Dustin Parker of Bonne Terre; and her cherished grandson, Nicholas Momot Jr. She also leaves behind her siblings: Michael (Diane) Brewer of Desloge, Brenda (Don Vandegriffe) Newcomer of French Village, and Earl Brewer of Farmington; half-siblings, Shirley, Jeannie, and Ronnie; her dear aunt, Betty Stacy; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Brewer, and her stepfather, Edward Ledbetter.
Sandy earned her associate degree from Gradwahl College in St. Louis and worked for many years as a dedicated medical lab technician at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center. She was a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Farmington.
Known for her love of flowers and gardening, Sandy also enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, and taking cruises with her mother. She will be fondly remembered for her warm spirit, kind heart, and the joy she brought to those around her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made, if desired, to the Siteman Cancer Center or Worldwide Ministries, c/o Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
