Susan Ann Brewer, of Farmington, entered eternal rest on November 20, 2025, at Mercy South St. Louis, at the age of 69. She was born on September 17, 1956, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, to the late Elmer and Katheryn (Giffin) Masters.
Susan leaves behind her devoted husband, Mark Brewer, and her cherished daughters, Kimberly (Jeff) Jiles and Laura (Jeremy) Marler. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Zachary (Kayla) McDowell, Logan Hall, and Kaleb Marler, and a great-grandmother to Lakota McDowell, Rowan McDowell, Oliver, and Sailor. She is also survived by her brother, Donald (Lavenia) Masters, her niece, Sunny (Phil) Tune, and great-nephews Simon and Elias Tune, along with her brothers- and sisters-in-law, Monna McCarver, Suzie Boyer, Steve (Valerie) Brewer, and Dennis Brewer. She will be lovingly remembered by many other relatives and dear friends.
In addition to her parents, Susan is reunited in heaven with her grandchildren, Emily Ann Marie Jiles and Joshua Marler, as well as her grandparents, Oliver and Leona Masters and Arthur and Doris Giffin.
Susan dedicated many years to caring for others as a massage therapist and esthetician. She found joy in square dancing, jewelry making, oil painting, sewing, and ceramics. She also cherished time spent outdoors—hunting, fishing, camping, and especially visiting the cabin with Mark, where some of her fondest memories were made.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in her honor at 11433 Olde Cabin Road, Suite 100, St Louis, MO 63141 or www.alz.org/stl.
