Ted Scott

BONNE TERRE - Theodore Charles "Ted Scott" Melensky of Bonne Terre, formerly of St. Louis, passed away Monday, September 9, 2014 at the St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre at the age of 70 years. He was born November 7, 1943 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania son of the late Theodore John and Lillian Edith (Thoman) Melensky. Ted proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Following his service he pursued a career with Trans-World Airlines from where he later retired. He was a member of the Lutheran faith. He is survived by two cousins, Betty Dumrauf and Richard Leo both of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Private interment services will be held at the Union Dale Cemetery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The family requests in lieu of floral offerings, that memorials to his memory be made to the charity or organization of the donor's choosing.
