Thomas Lawrence Jones Jr.

Thomas Lawrence Jones Jr., of Farmington, entered eternal rest on April 27, 2025, at Mercy South at the age of 64. He was born on February 7, 1961, in Pontiac, Michigan to Thomas Lawrence and Linda Grace (Wray) Jones. 

Thomas is survived by his mother, Linda Jones of Fredericktown, his wife of 39 years, Cynthia (Latham) Jones, his children, Casey (Mike) Bloom of Burnham, Maine, Ethan (Amber) Jones of Farmington, and William Jones of Farmington, his grandchildren, Michael, Emery, Charlie, Eleanor, Elijah, Aiden, Lilah, and Ava, his siblings, Christall (Kevin) Johnson of Fredericktown and Matthew Jones of Fredericktown, other extended family members, friends, and his special feline companion, Jacob.

Thomas is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Lawrence Jones and his siblings, Doug Jones, Mickey Jones, and Roberta Jones.

Thomas proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. He retired as a corrections officer after 28 years with the Farmington Department of Corrections. He was an avid Detroit Lions football fan and enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and treasure hunting with his wife, Cynthia. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
