FARMINGTON - Thomas Earl "Tom" Quinton, age 67, passed away at his home on September 26, 2025. He was born March 30, 1958 to the late James Quinton and Patsy (Byington) Harter. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Quinton; his Grandma and Paw Paw, Audrey "Pat" Williams and Elmer Williams and his Granny, Irene Byington.
A lifelong resident of the Farmington area, Tom was a 1977 graduate of Farmington High School. During his high school years he was an athletic stand out who excelled in a variety of school sports. Later he became involved in Odyssey Racing and he especially enjoyed the comradery that came with that sport. Tom spent twelve years in manufacturing at Little Tykes and after the plant was closed he worked in retail and manufacturing until his retirement. He was an avid Cardinal baseball fan. Being in the outdoors was his passion, fishing and spending time in the peace and solitude of his ten acres in the country. Anyone who knew Tom, knew that he liked to party and was the life of the party. He was notorious for coming up with clever nick names for his friends.
Survivors include his wife, Kitty (Williams) Quinton; two sons, Toby Latham and Anthony Quinton; a daughter, Jamie Worley; daughter-in-law, Kristina Quinton; grandsons, C. J. and Max; many nieces, nephews, extended family and good friends.
