Tillie Esther Bingham

FARMINGTON Tillie Esther Bingham of Farmington passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at her home at the age of 76 years. She was born on September 5, 1940 at Highland, Illinois daughter of the late Julius and Alice (Schmitt) Arthur. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by an infant sister, Jean Alice Arthur exactly 79 years ago to the day on February 15, 1938.

Mrs. Bingham was retired from the St. Francois County Health Department where she had been employed as a Registered Nurse for many years. She was a faithful member of the Libertyville United Methodist Church where she was active in the United Methodist Women's group.

She is survived by her husband of over 55 years, Larry Randal Bingham of Farmington, two sons, Randy (& Linda) Bingham of Red Bud, Illinois and Michael (& Robin) Bingham of Fairdealing, Missouri, two sisters Lillie Lippert of St. Louis and Mary Key of Highland, Illinois, six granddaughters, Stephanie, Kendra, Hannah, Holly, Rylie, and Kellie, two great-granddaughters, Olivia and Brooklyn and numerous other relatives, dear friends, and nieghbors.

Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory from 5-8 pm on Friday, February 17, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Libertyville United Methodist Church with Chaplain Allan Harmening and Lay Minister Sherie Wymore officiating. Interment will be in the Libertyville Methodist Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the American Cancer Society.
