FARMINGTON – Timothy “Shawn” Eudy passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 25,2026, at Parkland Health Center at the age of 57. He was born in Farmington on September 17,1969, to Timothy Earl Eudy and Brenda Naomi (Hull) Eudy, who survive.

Preceding Shawn in death were his maternal grandparents, Walter and Opal Hull.

For over thirty years, Shawn was a professional painter. Throughout those years, he gained a reputation for being an excellent painting contractor whose meticulous work was sought after. In 2007, he took a break from entrepreneurship and went into the MAC Law Enforcement Academy to pursue a career in law enforcement. As a police officer, his professionalism and integrity earned the respect of his peers.

He went back to painting though, and later used his law enforcement experience to help out at Cuzzins on the weekends as security personnel, where he made many good friends. Although he loved being a police officer, painting was in his blood - he eventually went back to running his business again full time.

In his spare time Shawn loved to bring his boat and friends to Goose Creek Lake, watch football with his dad, Tim, and favorite Uncle Wayne. He also loved to cook gourmet meals for his daughter, Ryan.

Respect for God’s Word, which was instilled in him as a child, remained with him his entire life and he was always happy to talk about it with others.

Survivors include his parents, Tim and Brenda; his daughter, Ryan Renee; Special close aunts and uncles, Wayne and Tricia Hull, David and Becky Hull; Aunt Audrey Schrum; Cousins, Tara and Chad Schrum, Benjamin Hull and Breanna (Ryan) Ross. Several other aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Shawn truly made the most of life. He loved to laugh and joke, and he made friends everywhere he went. His unique personality and contagious laughter made unforgettable memories for all who knew him. (And if you knew him, you probably called him “Eudy”.)

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Farmington Elks Lodge on Sunday, November 1, 2026 at 3:00 pm. Bring a story to share.
