Virginia Greeno

Virginia Greeno, of Ste. Genevieve, entered eternal rest on December 20, 2025, at Riverview at the Park Nursing Center, at the age of 83. She was born on September 8, 1942, in Georgetown, Arkansas, to the late Louis and Elizabeth (Faughn) Greeno.

Virginia is survived by her nephew, Gary Foote (Linda); her niece, Lynda Patterson (Dale); and several other nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews who cherished her dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Charles, Ruth, Bonnice, and Natalie; her nephews, Calvin and James; and her niece, Melanie.

Virginia dedicated more than 30 years of her life to education as a school teacher, specializing in home economics. She was passionate about teaching practical life skills and took great pride in the impact she had on generations of students.

Outside of her career, Virginia found joy in flower gardening, reading, sewing, and home décor. She had a warm appreciation for creativity and beauty in everyday life, often expressed through her hobbies and her welcoming home.
