Walter Madison Braddy passed away June 18, 2025. He was born on December 4, 1946, in Doe Run, Missouri, to the late James Charles Braddy and Ines Marie (Hardesty) Jones.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Walter Matthew Braddy, his sister, Joyce Laverne Shy and his brother, Charles James Braddy.

Walter is survived by his wife of 59 years, Vicki Parker Braddy, his son, Nathan Andrew Braddy of Independence, Missouri and his son, Timothy Aaron (Jetty Gealon) Braddy of Elkton, Florida.

Walter served in the United States Air Force and obtained his college degree in Safety Engineering at Central Missouri State. After retirement, he worked at Southern Boone School District as a bus driver, bus driver trainer, kitchen helper, custodian, maintenance, substitute teacher and all around “jack of all trades”.

His pride was his hobby farm in Ashland, Missouri where he raised cattle, blackberries and strawberries. After his wife’s retirement, they traveled to many states and lived in a few different places until they decided to return to Farmington, Missouri, their Lead Belt home base. He will be missed by his family and all who knew him.
