William 'Bill' Benjamin Mund

William "Bill" Benjamin Mund FARMINGTON William "Bill" Benjamin Mund of Farmington passed away July 7, 2018 at Missouri Baptist Hospital at the age of 60. He was born August 14, 1957 in Bonne Terre to the late John and Frances (Hawkins) Mund. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Hartwick and brother in law, Sam Whitener. Bill was a devoted member of First Freewill Baptist Church. He enjoyed his career at Mineral Area Hospital where he was employed for 43 years. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Bill was an animal lover and a St. Louis Cardinals fan. He loved his family and adored his grandchildren. Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, Tammy (Nielsen) Mund, daughters, Aleisha (Kyle) Steinmann of Breeze, IL and Franci Mund of Farmington, grandchildren, Wyatt, Weston and Lily Steinmann, siblings, Daisy Whitener of Farmington, Lenora (Jim) Nickelson of Doe Run, Helen Mund of Little Rock, AR, John Mund Jr. of Farmington, Ruth (Paul) Pinson of Collinsville, OK, and Edith Mund of Farmington, nieces, nephews, cousins, coworkers and many friends. Friends may call on Tuesday, July 10 at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Visitation will resume at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning until time of service beginning at 11 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel. Interment will follow at Knob Lick Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to First Freewill Baptist Church, 305 W. Columbia, Farmington, MO 63640.
