William "Bill" Lee Luce

FARMINGTON William Lee "Bill" Luce, of Farmington, formerly of Tuolumne, California, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis at the age of 78 years. He was born on December 30, 1938 in Toledo, Ohio son of the late Walter A. and Frances O. (Gunder) Luce. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Jessica (Meechum) Luce in 2003, three brothers, and four sisters.

Bill proudly served country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed cooking, hunting, fishing, watching wildlife, old westerns, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his four children, William Luce of Farmington, Tammy Bloodworth of Farmington, Mary Ellen Fischel of North Carolina, and Jeffrey Luce of Arizona, two sisters, Wilma Hall and Dolly Gross, a brother Dick Luce, eight great-grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

Bill's family plans to hold memorial services at a later date in California. Bill will be laid to rest next to his his wife in the Mountain Shadow Cemetery in Sonora, California.
